San Francisco - The walk to Coit Tower

It was unplanned. Visiting Coit Tower. The plan was to take the BART to Berkeley from the Embacardero Station. I had to walk north, and with my half baked sense of direction, i sort of headed in the general north direction, i think. With a bagel and a cup of coffee. It felt wonderful. Gorgeous morning, crisp cool air. Forget about freezing New mexico. San Frans has pretty mild weather. Walked through North Beach, which is the version of Little Italy. Walked for about 20mins when i caught sight of a sign which said COIT TOWER. After consulting my map (a very sad scrap of paper) i figured that it wasn't too far away and decided to head there instead. Err.. Berkeley could come later i suppose.

The way up to the tower was such a good walk. I got to see how San Frans wake up. The people in the park, the sun rising over the slopes... i fell in love, totally with this city. In fact, there was a time when i actually contemplated quitting my job and moving here. Seriously.
