publish or perish
Just like how i use to bitch about lab life and wonder about what life as a researcher will do to me physically (eye bags, wrinkles), mentally (stress??) and socially (no social life?), i am not alone. this is of course not surprising. misery loves company. I am pretty sure that people who go into grad school in science have a good idea of the bleak future. "Publish or perish", or at my institute, it can also be "patent or perish".and having found these clips through The Daily Transcipt...
