This is the kind of headlines on the news.And it hits me as mighty depressing. See the number of people killed, dead.
There was a time when i refused to read the papers because its way too depressing. Its still the same now i suppose, and i am therefore not really enthusiastic about reading them.
There are however, some things in life to make me happy. Such as, the fortuitous sight of a shooting star...
which happened last night =)
I have written a little on rainbows previously, but catching sight of a shooting star is such a serendipitous event. You have to be looking at the right place and at the right time. Unless theres a meteor shower, the sight of a shooting star, as transient as it might be, is an instant mood lifter.
** I like Stardust. Have not read the book but I like the story. Its such a fairy tale.
